After she graduated from a school of management, Catherine Dussart began her career as a press officerAfter graduating from a school of management, Catherine Dussart embarked on a diverse career that evolved from her role as a press officer to a distinguished Producer. She initially delved into the world of short films, seamlessly transitioning to the production of feature films and documentariesfor both television and cinema. In 1992, she founded Les Productions Dussart, followed by the establishment of CDP in 1994. Over the years, she has expertly curated an extensive portfolio, overseeing the production of nearly 100 films across more than 15 countries.
Her recent productions showcase her unwavering commitment to quality storytelling and cinematic excellence. Notable works include "Everything Will Be OK" by Rithy Panh, which earned the Silver Bear at the Berlinale in 2022, "Once Upon a Time in Calcutta" by Aditya Vikram Sengupta, recognized at the Venice Orizzonti and GFF in 2021, and the acclaimed documentary "Irradiated" by Rithy Panh, awarded Best Documentary at the Berlinale in 2020. Catherine Dussart's impactful contributions continue to garner accolades, captivating audiences and critics alike on the global film festival stage.
