In northern Martinique, Daniel, a widowed father and struggling fisherman-restaurateur, navigates life with his 8-year-old daughter, Soraya, amid a severe economic and social crisis. Their routine life takes a mystical turn when Soraya uses a lambi conch to summon mermaids. While she innocently hopes to find new friends, Daniel perceives her enchanting obsession as the harbinger of a potentially dangerous invasion, throwing their already precarious existence into uncertainty.
