Ibrahim Nash’at

Ibrahim Nash’at, an Egyptian documentary filmmaker now based in Berlin, Germany, boasts a multifaceted journalism career with contributions to various international channels and online platforms including Deutsche Welle, Al Jazeera, Business Insider, AJ+, and Voice of America. Holding a master’sdegree in documentary filmmaking from Met Film School, he also co-edited Academy Award nominated director Talal Derki’s latest work, Under The Sky of Damascus, which premiered at Panorama-Berlinale 2023 and won the Golden Alexander at the 25th Thessaloniki Doc Festival. Ibrahim's directing credits include A Moment With the Wind, Home Away From Home,and Berlin’s Diversity, recognized at numerous global film festivals. His debut feature film is Hollywoodgate.
