Tibor Bánóczki, Sarolta Szabó

Tibor Bánóczki and Sarolta Szabó, the multi-award-winning writer and director duo known for their mysterious and often bizarre worlds. They have created critically successful animated shorts such as Les Conquérants, which was part of the official programme of Sundance Film Festival’s New Frontier in 2012 and was competing at the 2013 César Awards for Best Animated Film. Their animated short, Leftover, won the ACSE Equality and Diversity Award at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2015 and was nominated for Best Animated Film at the César Awards in 2016, and has since been presented at over 40 festivals around the world. White Plastic Sky is their animated feature debut.
